SIDE EFFECTS OF ROZEREM
Worse insomnia, mental problems including thoughts of
harming yourself, drowsiness, behavior changes. Rozerem may
influence your ability to drive or do other dangerous
activities. Do not try to do these activities after taking
Rozerem. Rozerem may have an effect on the reproductive
hormones by increasing prolactin and potentially decreasing
testosterone levels. This may cause missed monthly periods,
decreased sex drive, nipple drainage or problems getting
pregnant. Your healthcare professional may do blood tests to
check your hormone levels if you have any of the above
symptoms. Some common side effects that may occur with
Rozerem include: headache, daytime sleepiness, dizziness,
tiredness, nausea, worsening insomnia and colds.
DOSAGE OF ROZEREM
The recommended dosage of Rozerem is 8 mg taken before 30
minutes of going to bed. It is suggested that Rozerem should
not be taken along with or immediately after a high fat
meal. It should not be used in subjects with severe hepatic
impairment. It should not be used in combination with
fluvoxamine.
RAMELTEON ROZEREM SIDE EFFECTS
More common side effects: sleepiness or unusual
drowsiness.
Less common side effects: difficulty in moving;
discouragement; ear congestion; fatigue; feeling sad or
empty; body aches or pain; change in taste; chills; cough;
difficulty in breathing; general feeling of discomfort or
illness; irritability; joint pain; muscle aching or
cramping; muscle pain or stiffness; nasal congestion;
nausea; pain in joints; runny nose; shivering;
sleeplessness; sneezing, or sore throat; sweating; swollen
joints; trouble concentrating; trouble sleeping; unusual
tiredness or weakness; loss of appetite; loss of interest or
pleasure; loss of taste or loss of voice. |
